Hall of Fame Dodgers' pitcher Sandy Koufax portrayed in mid-windup, painted on a vintage baseball glove. The natural creases in the glove suggest where Koufax's leg would appear.

Of course, the Southpaw power pitcher is painted on a vintage 1960s-era glove for lefties.

The art is created with archival-quality acrylic paint and sealed with a layer of UV protection.

 

It is framed in a brushed gold metal shadow box frame with a cloth mat.

Sean Kane's painted baseball glove art is on exhibit at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, has been the subject of a solo gallery show in New York City, and is in private collections across the U.S.
