The Hawk depicted at bat for the Montreal Expos. He played for the Expos from 1976 to 1986.
A custom Rawlings glove model selected by Andre Dawson, just like the one he used during his playing career, was used for the glove painting.
Glove Art Display
The painting was created with acrylic paints. It shipped with a museum display stand as shown here.
The Hawk finished his career with 438 home runs over 21 seasons and was the 1977 NL Rookie of the Year.
He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2010.
Growing up a Cubs fan, it was truly a pleasure working with Andre to create this special artwork celebrating his Hall of Fame career.
