Baseball Anthem Featured on Leather Baseball Glove

“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is celebrated with this hand-lettered artwork on a 1900s glove similar to the style worn in the first decade of the 20th century.

The unofficial official anthem of baseball, “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” was written in 1908 by two men who had never been to a game before.

The song title is hand-painted by Sean Kane with a type design inspired by the look of the times when the song was written.

The song’s ubiquity within the culture – beyond being sung at ballparks during the 7th inning stretch – is pronounced, appearing in movies, children’s books, commercials, and newly-recorded versions countless times during the past 112 years.
