Artwork Highlights
Portrait is on 2.5 inch round baseball glove leather repurposed from manufacturers using retired ball gloves for other products.
Baseball Card size: 2.5 x 3.5 inch 4-ply archival mounting board with embossed back.
Hand-painted using professional-quality acrylic paints.
Artist signed/dated on the front • Back of card is embossed Sean Kane logo and art details.
Arrives with a mini display easel, boxed, in a cotton drawstring bag – perfect for gifting to your favorite fan!
Displayed in UV-resistant, no-PVC and acid free card case with magnetic opening. Case size is 2.8 x 4.3 inches.

Each Painted Glove Portrait Card is a one-of-a-kind collectible using classic, retired baseball glove leather as its canvas – I may paint the same player more than once, but never repeating a pose or design.
Portrait card arrives in a cotton bag with magnetic card case and mini display easel.
Customer Journey
1. Upon payment, you’ll receive a receipt followed soon after by a confirmation detailing specifics and shipping date for your one-of-a-kind Portrait Card.
2. Then I’ll research images to base the portrait on (or you can send me your favorite) and source an appropriate piece of classic baseball glove leather.
3. Next, I’ll share a rough design of the artwork with you before proceeding to create the final painting.
4. Once the final painting is completed, you’ll receive photos of it from me before it ships. And if it’s a gift, now would be the perfect time to send me what you’d like written on the hand-lettered card that will ship with the artwork.
5. Finally, the artwork is packed in it’s protective case, wrapped in a cloth to protect from scratches, placed in a gift box with a mini easel and labeled with the player’s name. This drops into a Sean Kane Baseball Art cotton bag with a card and is shipped in a bubble envelope.
6. You’ll receive tracking info for the package once it ships.

Artist Sean Kane
Sean Kane's baseball glove art is in the collection of the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Sean was recognized as “Artist of the Month” by the National Art Museum of Sport. His work has been commissioned by the Philadelphia Phillies, Cal Ripken Sr Foundation and The Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, among others. Sean’s glove art is in the collections of big league ball players and fans across North America.
