O’Neil played in the Negro Leagues, playing and managing the Kansas City Monarchs 1938-1956.
He was the first black coach in MLB for the Chicago Cubs in 1962.
Buck was a Special Scout for the Kansas City Royals from 1988 until his retirement.
Buck is best known to many baseball fans for appearing in Ken Burns’ documentary, “Baseball”.

Sean was recognized as “Artist of the Month” by the National Art Museum of Sport.
